Water Management and Conservation Plan

 

Please click on the link below to read the Water Management and Conservation Plan (WMCP), prepared for the City of Corvallis, Oregon in November 2012. This plan includes information about the City water use and demand, and the purpose of this plan is to "guide development, financing and implementation of water management and conservation programs that ensure sustainable water use and consider the City's future water needs" (pg 11, WMCP).

Development of a WMCP is required when requesting a new water use permit or as part of an extension of time for an existing water use permit. In September 2007, the City had a WMCP approved for an extension of time application for a water right from the Willamette River. A follow up plan was required within 5 years, resulting in the WMCP linked below.
