Improvement Project 2024

Construction for a new 2,812 square foot advanced-level skate bowl at Eric Scott McKinley Skate Park begun on March 4, 2023. The new skate bowl is slated to be built immediately adjacent to the existing skate bowl. Due to its popularity, the current skate bowl tends to experience overcrowding during the hours of peak use. The new bowl will provide a more challenging course for advanced skaters, while preserving the existing bowl for beginner and intermediate skaters. Construction began on Monday, March 4, 2024 and it is expected to take approximately three months to complete. The existing skate bowl will remain open during construction.
