Wildcat Park once featured a unique, extensive, wood "castle" on which generations of kids climbed and played. Time eventually took its toll on the structure and for safety reasons, it had to be dismantled in 2005. The Corvallis School District which owns the property, in partnership with interested citizen volunteers and Parks & Recreation, rebuilt the castle with new play equipment in 2007.
