Volunteer firefighters are an integral part of the Corvallis Fire Department. The Department maintains a roster of approximately 44 volunteers who augment the ranks of the career personnel and assist with fire suppression, rescue services, emergency medical care, and fire prevention.

The Fire Department has three volunteer programs designed to allow individuals to match their skills and time with the needs of the City and the Rural Fire Protection District.
