Consolidated Plan Corvallis became an entitlement city for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program in 2000, and a participating jurisdiction for the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) in 2001. With this status, the City receives annual funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) of nearly $1 million. A FY 2008-09 through FY 2012-13 Consolidated Plan has been developed to provide guidance for the City's use of these federal funds over the next five years. In general, CDBG- and HOME-funded activities must benefit low, very low, and extremely low income residents of Corvallis. General types of projects and activities now being planned for FY 10-11 will include:
FY 10-11 CDBG/HOME Action Plan An Action Plan that outlines how the City will utilize fiscal year 2010-11 funding from the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnerships programs, as well as from local resources, has been approved by the City Council and is available here. The Plan describes how the City will use a total of just over $1,000,000 in federal funding to carry out or support both housing and non-housing activities that will assist low income residents during the year. Annual Report A Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report is available here. It details the City's use of CDBG and HOME resources during FY 08-09. Grantee Handbooks
