° News from Joel Rea & Corvallis Brewing Supply: From the NW of Italy comes Nicola with Corsini Wines and from the NW of the U.S.A. lives Jamie of Ninkasi Brewing and together one fantastic night of beer and wine tastings! Enjoy Oregon craft brewing and international wines with this unique pairing of beer and wine. We'll have special American comfort and outrageous Italian food, ala Cloud 9, with special offerings on Ninkasi beers and Corsini wines. This is a great opportunity to meet the owners of two regionally important beer and wine producers as well as to welcome the spring seasonal release of Ninkasi's Spring Reign. ° Sibling Revelry Happenings: Wasn't that a fun taste of spring we had last weekend? Sibling Revelry has a couple more teasers coming up to enjoy: First, the North End is having an "Afternoon with Local Artists" this Friday, 2/26, from 3 pm. SIBLING REVELRY will feature CAT SHELBY of 'Cat's Eye Jewelry' INSIDE- OUT will have PAULA LAMONT (watercolors & cards) and ANITA COOK (linoleum carvings). MOD POD will feature PAM VAN LONDEN, painter and CHAMA BOVEE, pillow artist. Enjoy browsing through the stores, getting some refreshment and meeting these fabulous local artists with their amazing art.
Second, the Spring RHAPSODY IN THE VINEYARD is coming Saturday, March 13, 3:30-7pm SIBLING REVELRY will again host HIP CHICKS DO WINE, along with a jazz trio, 'TONIC' Come join the fun. If you haven't been to a downtown wine walk, it is a blast! Beginning at 2 pm, Sibling Revelry will be selling the mandatory wine glasses and checking IDs for bracelets. ° Benton Furniture Share Request Benton Furniture Share is looking for donated twin box springs. We received a generous donation of 20 twin mattresses; however, we need box springs to go with them. Your donation will help get a child within our community off the floor into a bed and a good night sleep. We currently have 38 children within our community waiting for a bed. Seemel is so fascinated with portraiture that she has dedicated herself entirely to the genre; Bernstein’s focus is on human relationships, family and aging. Both have a strong interest in socially conscious subject matters.
